Way Down in the Hole is een song van Tom Waits uit 1987 die deel uitmaakt van het prachtige album Frank’s Wild Years.
In 2001 maakte de Gospel – Blues groep The Blind Boys of Alabama een cover versie van Way Down in the Hole voor de televisieserie The Wire, uitgezonden door HBO. Hun versie is terug te vinden op het album Spirit of the Century.
